Past Experience

In the Classroom, Field and Studio

After pursuing my studies in videography, I served as Graduate Student Assistant for the chair of Liberty University's School of Communication and Arts. I assisted and taught beginner and intermediate video editing and production classes. This included everything from teaching how to color edit RAW, log, and other footage on Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve to getting students comfortable with equipment from our media lab.

My experience also extends to the Broadcast team at Samaritan's Purse, Video Media Services at Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, and Production Teams at Liberty University.

My Areas of Expertise

Pre-Production

I'm an Enneagram Type 3 organizer at heart. Developing due dates, breaking down budget, collaborating with the team, and finding locations & talent is where I thrive.

Production

Highly skilled in using digital cinema cameras (Sony PXW-FS5, A7S, PXW-Z280, and Lumix GH5), set up/teardown, and lighting.

Post Production

Highly skilled in editing and color correction in Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DiVinci Resolve. I have worked with multiple footage formats including RAW and log.

Finishing Touches

Proficient in formatting the end product to meet multiple platforms and creating subtitles. I have managed content delivery with Kaltura, Vimeo, YouTube, and other social media channels. I have tracked and monitored analytics for future best practices.

This original musical piece was filmed for class purposes. It was a group assignment and I was the producer, editor, and also filmed and ran audio for this project. This was shot on an FS5.
